2018-2019 Season Kick-off

After his appearance at the 25th Anniversary Gala at the Verbier Festival and the debut at the BBC Proms with the Aurora Orchestra, performing Shostakovich Piano Concerto No.2, Denis Kozhukhin started the 18/19 season with performances with the Boulez Ensemble at the Paris Philharmonie and the Boulez Saal. That was followed by the opening concert of the season at Flagey as Artist-in-residence, performing in trio with Renaud Capuçon and Edgar Moreau.

Upcoming concerts include the returns to the London Symphony under Nikolay Znaider, playing Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No.1, the Orchestre National du Capitol de Toulouse under Tugan Sokhiev, performing Prokofiev Piano Concerto No.2, a European Tour with the Cadaqués Orchestra under Vladimir Ashkenazy, performing Mozart Piano Concerto No.23, and the debuts with the KBS Symphony under Yoel Levi, performing Grieg Piano Concerto, and with National Symphony Orchestra under Carlos Miguel Prieto, playing Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No.3.
He will also appear in recital at the Schloss-Elmau-Verbier Festival and with the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, performing Beethoven Piano Concerto No.3 under Gábor Takács-Nagy.
