Denis Kozhukhin returns to Verbier Festival, makes debut with Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and performs at German Summer Festivals
This month, Denis Kozhukhin will make his concerto debut at the Verbier Festival, where he made a huge impact last year stepping in for a recital cancellation. The concert will take place on 22 July at the Salle des Combins, where Kozhukhin will perform Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 4 under the baton of Charles Dutoit.
The following month, Kozhukhin will make his debut with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. On 7 August, Kozhukhin will perform Grieg Piano Concerto at the Stockholm Konserthuset with conductor Rafael Payare.
During the summer months, Kozhukhin will perform at various summer festivals throughout Europe. Highlights include his debut at the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern on 14 August, where his programme will include works by Haydn, Franck, Prokofiev, Hindemith and Brahms, as well as a return to the Rheingau Musik Festival on 22 August, when the concert will open with works by Haydn, Brahms and Hindemith, and conclude with an all-Chopin second half.
